Colorado Department of Local Affairs Supplies $168M in Rental Assistance, $79.5M for Affordable Housing

The Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) Division of Housing (DOH) as of September has paid over $168M in pandemic-related emergency rental assistance, and this summer issued a $50M notice of funding available for the acquisition of land and buildings for affordable housing in addition to approving $29.5M in developments and rehabilitation.

State Agencies Collectively Champion Colorado Main Streets

The Colorado Main Street program within the Department  of Local Affairs (DOLA) Division of Local Government (DLG) guides community-led downtown  revitalization through a customizable framework to focus efforts, energy and resources to  create more vibrant communities across the state. 

There are 71 Main Street program communities and affiliates across Colorado from the  eastern plains to the western slope, and each is unique in size, history and culture. They also  share a common element – enthusiastic stakeholders with a strong desire for community  revitalization. 

16 Regional Teams Identified for Rural Resiliency and Recovery Roadmaps Program Will Aid 169 Colorado Communities With Their Post-COVID Economic Recovery Efforts

The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) and the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) have announced 16 regional teams, representing 169 rural communities, as participants in the Colorado Rural Resiliency and Recovery Roadmap program.
