Colorado Main Street has a tiered system for local programs to progress through as they achieve greater levels of self-sufficiency and success. Please see the Colorado Main Street Program Manual for more information on the prerequisites, requirements and available services for each tier.
Applying to Become an Affiliate Community
The new Affiliate tier gets limited services from DOLA but it is a great way to connect to the Main Street network and/or begin the process of becoming a Candidate. Communities may remain an Affiliate as long as they desire.
Applying to Become a Main Street Candidate
Please contact DOLA Colorado Main Street staff if your community is considering applying to the program.Staff may work with your community to help explore the program and help you decide if it is right for your community. To apply for Candidacy, you must submit a completed application, including the requested attachments to email@example.com. Applications are reviewed by the Main Street staff and advisory board in April, July, and December.
