Through the Strong Communities Grant Program, The Department of Local Affairs and Executive Director Maria De Cambra are proud to announce support of 16 projects statewide, providing nearly 2,000 affordable housing units (combination of rental and for sale options).

The Department of Local Affairs (DOLA), through the Division of Housing's State Housing Board, recently voted on, approved, and allocated $21,934,735 for 461 new affordable housing units and homeownership programs statewide.

The State of Colorado's Division of Housing (DOH), within the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA), was honored last week with the prestigious Modular Administrative Program of the Year Award. This esteemed recognition was presented at the World of Modular conference and trade show, hosted by the Modular Building Institute.

The deadline for the Affordable Housing Support Fund, administered by the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA), is November 1, 2023. As the filing deadline nears, the Department of Affairs (DOLA) encourages jurisdictions that have yet to file a commitment to participate in the State’s goal of creating and maintaining safe, stable, and affordable housing for all Colorado residents.
