The State Demography Office, within the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA), will virtually hold its annual fall summit on Friday, November 4, from 8:45 a.m.to 3:30 p.m.
Attendees will learn about the state's and its regions' most up-to-date population and economic estimates and forecasts during this one-day conference.
Summit Agenda
- Morning sessions will cover the state's economic and population conditions, as well as their implications.
- Afternoon session will focus on data tools, data reliability, and data definitions.
- Plenary sessions will cover the most recent population estimates and forecasts, migration trends, and implications for housing, planning, policy, and business.
- A panel of Colorado's leading economists will discuss Colorado's near-term economic outlook and its competitiveness in the long run.
- An expert from the U.S. Census Bureau will discuss new Census data products including their data equity tools.
- Continuing education credits will be available for Real Estate Appraisers and Real Estate Brokers; and
- The State Demography Office will present tools for visualizing population change and will introduce its redesigned website.
