Following the devastating Marshall Fire and Straight Winds Event on December 30, 2021, the State of Colorado received an initial congressional allocation of Community Development Block Grant for Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) of $7.415M from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under the Disaster Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2022. As a response to the presidentially-declared disaster (DR-4634-CO), this grant covers recovery needs in the areas of housing, infrastructure, economic development, and resilience.
