Home Modification Tax Credit Program

The Home Modification Tax Credit program provides a state income tax credit to help people with an illness, impairment, or disability retrofit their residence for greater accessibility and independence. It allows for up to a $5,000 credit per person in the family with a disability.

Down Payment Assistance and For-Sale Construction Programs

The Down Payment Assistance and For-Sale Construction Programs aim to help qualified low- to moderate-income families afford a home.

Single Family Owner Rehabilitation Program

The goal of the Single Family Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program is to remove deficiencies or health and safety hazards, correct substandard conditions, correct violations of local housing codes, improve accessibility and improve energy efficiency for owner-occupied housing.

Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program

The Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program uses federal Homeowner Assistance Funds to help homeowners affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, get caught up on past-due housing/mobile home payments, property taxes, lot rent, insurance and housing utilities.

Immediate Housing/Rental Assistance

Individuals facing homelessness or eviction can get immediate help by calling 2-1-1 Colorado. While the Division of Housing doesn't provide immediate aid, 2-1-1 connects people with emergency shelter, food, rental assistance, healthcare, and more.

2-1-1 Colorado is a confidential and multilingual service in Colorado that focuses on linking residents with essential services through phone or online channels. This service operates via four Area Information Centers across the state.

No matter where you are in Colorado, dialing 2-1-1 gives you access to local resources for food, housing, child care, counseling, or substance abuse treatment. It's the one number for the help you need.
