The Division of Property Taxation coordinates and administers the implementation of property tax law throughout the state and operates under the leadership of the property tax administrator, who is appointed by the State Board of Equalization.

Annual Reports
The Annual Report to the Governor and the General Assembly provides annual statistical and summary property tax information for the state of Colorado. It contains listings of assessed values by county in addition to property tax revenues of the local taxing jurisdictions.

The Assessors’ Reference Library (ARL) is a series of reference manuals that explain property tax administration and procedures for valuing real and personal property in Colorado.
Assessor Education
The Division of Property Taxation provides an education program for county assessors and their staff with a variety of courses concerning administrative processes and ad valorem licensing.
