The Home Access Program provides a resource for homeowners and renters who are unable to access their homes due to damage to roads that are non-county maintained.
FEMA public assistance may not be available to repair these roads due to their lack of public maintenance, even though they provide critical emergency access to families and homeowners, especially when considering the danger posed by forest fires.Without the reconstruction of the private roads and bridges, residents will be at high risk when the next disaster occurs. At present, the affected homeowners do not have access to homes or evacuation routes.
Applications Closed
Staff are currently working with those eligible applicants who applied to reimburse them for disaster-related expense.
